After what seems like a very long morning, and it’s only half way through, I have decided to write my daily blog. I write note were and when I can, a couple of days back I was in the can listerning to a rather good discussion on a man called William Robbinson, a gardener, it seems he was a bit of a renegade, and introduced many new approaches to garden design. His book “The wild Garden” 1870, is a fascinating read, but why bring this up in an Architectural Technologist CPD blog, well it’s about diversity of reading material, up until recently, I never gave any thought to garden design, or mapping, it was not until I got into it quite by chance, I saw the need for my training as an Architectural Technologist.
I now offer specialist training and mapping services for large and small garden, laying out the garden and presenting it in a way a gardener can design beds and whole areas with ease.
So the book, and William Robbinson is a particular good way to say, that perhaps just reading specification and construction books, might well be expanded to cover other subjects closely related to our main fiction.
